2nd Suspected Linked to Deadly Rollover Caught

This was the gruesome scene back on October 15th where this 1999 Cherokee with six illegal immigrants rolled over on the 100 block of Reuben Torres killing two people.
Police say the driver was the arrested when the accident happened but they were still on the search for two suspects part of this smuggling ring.
Police say they recently caught a break and caught another one Juan Jose Cruz.

"Brownsville police say Brownsville ISD police pulled over the human smuggling suspect on the 3200 block of Alton Gloor over the weekend for a traffic violation."

Police say it's not uncommon for them to catch criminal suspects during a traffic stop.

"It happens, very simple, for speeding, your light in your vehicle is out, and they will stop you for it."

In addition to human smuggling charges Cruz will also be charged with engaging in criminal activity. Cruz was given a half a million dollar bond.
Police are still looking for one more suspect.
