PHARR- Traffic was snarled after a car crash that happened before the interchange on south bound 281 Monday afternoon. No one was seriously hurt.

Police had to shut down a portion of 281 to clear up the scene. Traffic was backed up for about 45 minutes and was reopened after 1 p.m.

The cause of the crash is currently being investigated.
