Customs and Border Patrol officers at the Veterans International bridge in Brownsville seized nearly $18 million dollars worth of cocaine.

Officers found the drug in a commercial shipment of cantera stone in several pallets on a tractor trailer. Officers removed a total of 403 packages from within the cantera stones. A total of 560 pounds of cocaine was seized and the driver, who is a Mexican citizen, is in federal custody.
