$17 Million Dollars Worth of Drugs Seized by CBP in Two Months
PHARR - Nearly 18,000 pounds of marijuana have been seized in the past two months at the Pharr Reynosa International bridge.
The more than eight tons of the drug is worth roughly $17 million dollars after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers foiled seven separate illicit importation. In all cases a secondary inspection revealed the packages hidden within the trailer or within cargo. In all nearly 2,500 packages of marijuana were confiscated with the drugs and vehicles seized by CBP.
