$100,000 bond for man accused of shooting teen

BROWNSVILLE - One man was taken to the hospital and another is in jail after a man was shot the wrong guy.

Twenty- Seven year old Francisco Antonio Romero has been arrested for the crime.

Police say he approached a group of men arrest a group of men near first and West Saint Charkes streets to confront a teen he thought stole his car. He eventually pulled out a handgun and a man standing beside the accused teen was somehow shot in the back of the leg. He was taken to the hospital and Romero was arrested at his home.
