man sentenced to 17 years in prison

A jury found Miguel Angel Ramirez guilty of intoxication manslaughter and sentenced him to 17 years in prison. Prosecutors say Ramirez was nearly four times over the legal drinking level, under the incluence of cocaine and driving in the opposite direction on a one way street at about 100 miles per hour when he killed 41-year-old Conrado Ramirez who was on his way to work. The man killed left behind a wife of 22 years and five children.
