Saturday, May 1, 2010 - 8:39am

There was a zoo visitor who was bitten by a monkey that got out of its island habitat on Friday. It happened when a group of women asked the Zoo Director if a monkey should be sitting on a wooden rail. The monkey did bite one of the women and the monkey was captured and quarantined. Zoo officials say strong winds blew some branches off  nearby trees and making it possible for the monkey to leave the island habitat.
