Tropical Storm Isaac is getting better organized as it approaches the Caribbean.

Isaac remains a tropical storm making its way through the Leeward Islands. Isaac is expected to strengthen into a hurricane by Friday as it approaches the Dominican Republic. Florida still remains the forecasted U.S. landfall location. However, the overall track has shifted slightly to the west and towards the Gulf of Mexico. Some reliable models continue to slide the track of Isaac further to the west. We will need to track the storm very closely over the weekend as Isaac is expected to push north of Cuba by Monday.
