It wasn't an investigation and it didn't come from a tipster. Sullivan City Police say it was all due to good observation. When the officer tried to pull the driver over, the driver refused and kept driving. He finally came to a stop one block later; he bailed out, leaving 51 bundles of marijuana inside.

The total amount seized 1,028 pounds. Sergeant, Eloy Treviño, says this seizure means a lot for the police department, especially after what the department is going through with the police chief being indicted for conspiracy and drug trafficking. Even with only 10 officers in the force, Treviño says the department will continue to make sure all Sullivan City residents are protected.
