San Juan police investigating shooting death of homeowner.

San Juan police have arrested two men in connection to an overnight shooting that left the homeowner dead and a third suspect still on the run, Daisy Martinez has the details.

The shooting happened in the early hours on Thursday morning when three men, armed with guns, stormed a home on Sunset Avenue and shot a 22 year-old man at least five times. The suspects then fled the home in a white Chevy Avalanche, but police believe that the homeowner might have gotten a shot off and injured one of the suspects. Police report that a search for the vehicle was initiated and they were able to spot the truck and arrest two suspects in the vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries, while police have questioned the wife about the shooting, police do not believe the shooting was a random home invasion, but a hit on the victim. Police will continue their investigation of the shooting and are stilling searching for the third suspect.
