Police Investigating Storage Unit Burglaries.

Police in Harlingen are trying to track down the person or party responsible for breaking into nearly four dozen storage units, Na'Tassia Finley has more on the burglary and how you can help.

Harlingen Crime Stoppers is seeking information on the burglary of 44 storage units at a facility located off on North Stuart street. Here's what Harlingen investigators know, they say the crime occurred overnight between Friday and Saturday. They believe the criminal used some type of tool to break the locks off the storage units and kicking the doors in. At this time, they're not sure just how much was stolen from each unit, but where it stands now, the person or party faces second degree felony charges.

Lead investigator, Reynaldo Delua also says that they believe the vehicle the criminal was traveling in got stuck in a muddy patch on the backside of the property and had to be pulled out . Detective Delua is hoping someone saw this or the vehicles, in the meantime, investigators are waiting on surveillance video.
