Daniel Hernandez has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for attempting to mail drugs through the postal service.

He was arrested a year ago for trying to mail out a box with several bundles of marijuana and was arrested in the parking lot of the post office in Brownsville. The box contained 14 pounds of marijuana and was estimated with a street value of $6,000 dollars.
