HARLINGEN - It was a great season for the Harlingen High School Football Team. The Cardinals had an overall

record of 13 and 1. They had some great wins in the Playoffs including a big win over San Antonio Warren 53-28.

Friday night the Cardinals lost 42-27 in State Quarterfinals to San Antonio Madison. They ended up turning the ball

over four times. But they have something to be proud of as more than 13- thousand tickets were sold for the game in

Kingsville. That's the first time a Valley Team has advanced the third round since 1999.
