Half a million dollars of cocaine seized at port of entry.

On Tuesday, at the Gateway International bridge, a primary Customs officer referred a 1996 Nissan Maxima to a secondary inspection lane where officers found 7 hidden packages of cocaine inside the vehicle. The cocaine weighed close to 15 pounds and a street value estimated at $500,000 dollars. The driver, a 37 year-old female, and her passenger, both from Mexico, were arrested and turned over to ICE agents.
