FEMA has opened a new office in Port Isabel to assist residents who were victims from Hurricane Alex. The mobile unit is located at the Port Isabel Annex building just off highway 100.

FEMA says flood victims can apply for low interest loans to rebuild home and businesses and can call 1.800.621.3362 for more information. The unit will be in Port Isabel until Friday then move to Harlingen.

This is just a FRONT that the federal government is puting up, because once you go there to request the help they so much advertise, IT IS NOT TRUE. There is so much red tape to get the help that is not only legally, but morally right for us citizens to get, and in the end, they FEMA, do not give us NOTHING!!

Rest assure that I will be writing to our state and federal government elected officials to look into this matter.
