District Attorney's Office Reviewing Poodle Case
The Cameron County District Attorney's office is now reviewing the case of 17 poodles left in floodwaters at Green Valley Farms.
Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio says his department investigated the case and turned it over to the D.A.'s office. It's now up to the D.A. to determine whether there is sufficient evidence or probable cause to charge the owner of the dogs with animal cruelty. The dogs remain in county custody until the investigation is complete.
