Hidalgo Sheriff deputies seized nearly a thousand pounds of marijuana from a tip that led them to a Stripes store near highway 107 and Val Verde road.

Police searched an 18 wheeler cargo space with a K-9 dog which found the marijuana hidden in the walls of the trailer. The driver of the trailer was arrest and the marijuana seized by police.
