The City of San Juan passed an ordinance that will prohibit loud music or loud engines around homes and businesses.
The ordinance comes after the police department received about 800 calls complaining about loud noise from the time frame of 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.. It will take in effect March 20th and those who violate the ordinance may face fines from $1 dollar to $500 dollars.
