Child Support Round Up

The Cameron County Sheriff Department rounding up those who are not paying their child support.  They arrested eight people Friday. The total combined owed for the eight is more than $100,000. Matt Fernandez has the story.

It's about time that this issue is being taken more seriously. The sad part is that arears are allowed to get to such a ridiculously large amount before action is taken. It is not fair for the child to be forced to wait for payment until the non-custodial parent sees it convinient to voluntarily meet their obligation.
