A state of the art boat, valued at more than a quarter million dollars, was dedicated at the Port of Brownsville on Wednesday in memory of Game Warden George Whatley who died during training exercises from a heart attack.
The boat will be used for search and rescue missions and to inspect commercial fishing vessels. Whatley's brother, Michael, was on hand for the ceremony and took a ride on the boat.
