Mail-in votes for the Precinct 2 Commissioners race and other ballots are being impounded by the Cameron County Sheriff's Department because of possibility of discrepancies. Ruben Pena, the Democratic nominee for Cameron County Commissioner Precinct 2, suspects fraud concerns in  the mail-in votes of his opponent Ernie Hernandez. He claims that during Tuesday's runoff election some of the mail-in ballots signatures on the applications do not appear to match the returned ballots. Pena is questioning the votes at Sharp Elementary school and those ballot boxes have been impounded as well.
