Agents arrest two men with smuggling marijuana.

Border Patrol agents seized more than half a ton of marijuana stuffed into backpacks near the Rio Grande river. Wednesday, agents patrolling near Brownsville noticed two men walking north from the river and carrying makeshift backpacks. As agents approached the men, both dropped the backpacks and ran off, but later captured and arrested. Agents inspected the backpacks and counted 18 bundles of packaged marijuana with a street value of $850,000 dollars.
