Tractor trailers traveling through Cameron county could soon have their own driving route now that the county will receive $34 million dollars for the East Loop Project.

The new loop will re-route semi-trucks traveling on highway 48 to Veterans bridge and away from schools, residences and keep the trucks from traveling through downtown.
