250 National Guard Troops to Texas?

With the continuous violence in México, U.S. President, Barack Obama, plans to deploy as many as 250 National Guard Troops to Texas to help secure the border. In total, 1,200 troops will be deployed along the U.S./Mexico border. But just how many troops will come down to the Valley? That’s to be determined.

Many who cross into México frequently say the President's idea is a good one but one man says 250 troops for Texas isn't enough to prevent spillover violence. At least a thousand, that's what Jesus Cazares thinks is needed in the state.

Officials are still deciding when and where the troops would be sent but when they are sent down, they will work on intelligence surveillance, analysis, training and support efforts blocking drug trafficking.
