La Villa Police say a toddler died last night and the cause of death remains unknown. They say the boy arrived unresponsive at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. Police Chief Eloy Cardenas says they have charged 32-year-old Adan Acuña with Capital Murder.  They say they are also looking for the mother who has not come forth to police, Sandra Reyna. Police say Acuña is the mother's boyfriend and they had been dating since early this year. La Villa residents who knew the toddler's father say he is devastated by the news.
