Murder Suspect's Bond Set at $1 Million

Brownsville man, 19-year-old Ambrosio Hernandez, went before a judge today to be charged for murder. Brownsville Police say Hernandez shot Mathis man Abel Luna, twice, once in the chest and once in the buttocks after an altercation at a motel. Luna died of those injuries at a local hospital. Hernandez's bond was set at $1 million. Five others, including one woman, were also arrested and charged with burglary with intentt to assault in connection to the murder. Their bond was set at $100,000 each.
