Photo Contest "Capture the Future: Brownsville through your Eyes"

United Brownsville invites submission to their first Facebook Photo Contest “Capture the Future: Brownsville through your eyes” for all Brownsville residents. The contest is the first of many efforts that the nonprofit is organizing with the purpose of increasing citizen participation and instilling an appreciation for the city of Brownsville, its history, multiple assets and potential.
The contest is open to all Brownsville residents, who will be able to send a maximum of 3 submissions. Entry is free and contestants can participate with up to three submissions that portray the city in a positive light. Entries should be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Tuesday, July 31.
Submissions will be displayed in an album of United Brownsville’s Facebook page. The three entries with the most “likes” will be awarded a lunch with community leaders from the eight governing entities of United Brownsville. Additionally, all entries may be featured in an upcoming United Brownsville TV spot. Winners will be announced on August 8, 2012.
