My Hispanic Hero Celebration

All children and families are invited to celebrate My Hispanic Hero: Celebrating Hispanics in the Military in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Create dog tags, make Mexican military hats, learn about Hispanic military heros, and earn free Junior Ranger badges from Hispanic Heritage National Parks. This free event is sponsored by Palo Alto Battlefield NHP.

My Hispanic Hero is on Saturday, September 18 from 10 AM – 4 PM at the Brownsville Public Library – Central Branch. Admission and all activities are free. For more information, call 541-2785, ext. 333 or email paal_interpretation@nps.gov.
